Gear & Enchanting Mods — Quick Reference
The mods that decide how strong your equipment gets: the Apotheosis affix economy, the enchanting overhaul, weapon variety, and the gear-material shortcuts. Deep-dive tutorial: the Loot, Affixes & God-Gear guide.
The Apotheosis family
Apotheosis — the pack’s core gear system: Diablo-style affix loot with rarities, gems, salvaging and reforging; a rebuilt enchanting table (Eterna/Quanta/Arcana shelf stats, beyond-vanilla levels); and modifiable spawners. → In-game: the Chronicle of Shadows book (the true manual) · CurseForge
Apotheotic Additions — extends Apotheosis with extra rarity tiers and content above Mythic. → CurseForge
Apothic Attributes / Apothic Curios / Apothic Materials — the support family Apotheosis stands on: the attribute engine, trinket-slot integration, and extra affix materials. You interact with them through Apotheosis, not directly. → Apothic Attributes · Apothic Curios
Celestial Enchantments (+ Celestial Core) — an extra layer of themed enchantments on top of the Apotheosis economy. → CurseForge
Disenchanting Table — pull enchantments off gear onto books; the bridge between loot and your enchantment library. One block — JEI it.
Weapons & armor variety
Spartan Weaponry — dozens of new weapon classes (halberds, rapiers, javelins, throwing weapons) with real reach/speed tradeoffs, craftable in vanilla and modded materials. Compat addons (Spartan Fire, Spartan Cataclysm, toolkit) extend it into Ice and Fire and Cataclysm materials. → CurseForge
Spartan Shields — the same treatment for shields, from wood to modded metals. → CurseForge
More Bows and Arrows — expanded ranged arsenal in many materials. JEI “bow” shows the range.
Armor trims with teeth — a cluster (Additional Trims, Upgraded Trims/Additional Trims, Trim Effects) that makes smithing-template trims grant real gameplay effects instead of cosmetics. Check a trim’s tooltip after applying.
Getting to netherite faster
A cluster of small mods opens extra netherite routes: Easy Netherite, Sky’s Overworld Netherite, Fortune on Ancient Debris, MysticRift Ancient Debris, and Netherrack Blasting. Net effect: debris responds to Fortune and appears in more places — netherite is a mid-game goal here, not a chore. JEI “netherite” for the recipes.
