Magic Mods — Quick Reference

Every spellcasting mod on the server, what it does in a sentence or two, and where to read more. This is a lookup card, not a tutorial — for how to actually play a mage, see the Becoming a Wizard guide. Enchanting and affix systems (Apotheosis and friends) live in the Gear & Enchanting reference.

Spellcasting

Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks — the core magic system: 100+ spells across nine schools, learned from looted scrolls and cast from spellbooks. Mana, cast-speed, and spell-power stats make “wizard” a full build path. → iron.wiki (official docs; tracks the newest version — in-game tooltips win disagreements)

Cataclysm: Spellbooks — turns L_Ender’s Cataclysm boss materials into endgame spellbooks and spells. The reason wizards fight Ignis. → CurseForge

Ice and Fire: Spellbooks — the same idea for dragons: dragon parts become dragon-flavored spells and books. → CurseForge

Hexalia — small-scale herbal witchcraft: magical plants, brews, and ritual-ish crafting. A cottage-magic side dish rather than a main course. → CurseForge

Magical trinkets

Relics (+ More Relics) — rare trinkets with active abilities that gain experience and level up as you use them. Boss-tier drops; every relic is a build-around item. → Relics · More Relics — each relic’s own tooltip/GUI is the best per-version reference

Under the hood

Curios / Accessories — the trinket-slot frameworks (rings, belts, charms) every magic and artifact mod plugs into. You’ll see their slots in your inventory but never craft anything from them. → Curios on CurseForge
